American Friends of Ohr Yosef, a non-profit organization established in December 1997, uses charitable donations to fund the following:

  1. To fund Kollel Ohr Yosef for the advanced study of halacha, in Jerusalem.

  2. To grant long-term interest-free loans, for helping newly married Russian immigrants purchase homes in Eretz Yisrael.

  3. To provide funding for emergency medical needs - both in Israel and the U.S.
